BearTown 13 - Portland, Oregon
It has begun. 13 years in the making; the Oregon Bears are proud to present BearTown 13: EVOLUTION. This fun-filled weekend is packed with some of our most popular events from the past 13 years and includes some new and exciting activities that will showcase our city and the spirit of our organization. It’s time to evolve!

The Mr. Oregon Bear and Cub Contest, featuring entertainment by Ms. Candye Kane, is the highlight event of the weekend. And, back this year, at CC Slaughter’s, is the wildly popular UnderBear Dance: Raging Bearmones.


For those of you who are so inclined to shed a bit of your outerwear, we have two events for you! Join us for Twisted Social Grooming, a Bear Bath Event at Portland Tub and Tan and "Bears Go Wild Play Party" at STEAM Portland.


If beer and music spark your interest then BearTown Acoustic Music Jam II at Widmer Brothers Brewing Company is the combination for you. Attendees will participate in brewery tours and listen to tunes performed by local and regional artists. This event is sure to sooth the savage beast in all!


New activities this year include the Bear Pride T-shirt Exchange at Casey’s, the EVOLUTION Bar Crawl in downtown Portland, and an amazing opportunity to see our beautiful city as we cruise the Willamette River for Sunday Brunch and be entertained by our beloved Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as they host Bear Bingo.


These are only a few of the fun activities and events for the weekend. Below you will see a more detailed schedule. Please be aware, many of our popular events pack the house, so only "Full Package" guests are guaranteed entrance to core events. Admittance to any event may be limited due to crowd capacity.
