BearTown 13 - Portland, Oregon
It has begun. 13 years in the making; the Oregon Bears are proud to present BearTown 13: EVOLUTION. This fun-filled weekend is packed with some of our most popular events from the past 13 years and includes some new and exciting activities that will showcase our city and the spirit of our organization. It’s time to evolve!

The Mr. Oregon Bear and Cub Contest, featuring entertainment by Ms. Candye Kane, is the highlight event of the weekend. And, back this year, at CC Slaughter’s, is the wildly popular UnderBear Dance: Raging Bearmones.


For those of you who are so inclined to shed a bit of your outerwear, we have two events for you! Join us for Twisted Social Grooming, a Bear Bath Event at Portland Tub and Tan and "Bears Go Wild Play Party" at STEAM Portland.


If beer and music spark your interest then BearTown Acoustic Music Jam II at Widmer Brothers Brewing Company is the combination for you. Attendees will participate in brewery tours and listen to tunes performed by local and regional artists. This event is sure to sooth the savage beast in all!


New activities this year include the Bear Pride T-shirt Exchange at Casey’s, the EVOLUTION Bar Crawl in downtown Portland, and an amazing opportunity to see our beautiful city as we cruise the Willamette River for Sunday Brunch and be entertained by our beloved Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as they host Bear Bingo.


These are only a few of the fun activities and events for the weekend. Below you will see a more detailed schedule. Please be aware, many of our popular events pack the house, so only "Full Package" guests are guaranteed entrance to core events. Admittance to any event may be limited due to crowd capacity. Hydration 2008

This is a christmas fund raiser for the kids at Jerusalem House who are living with HIV/Aids. The event will take place at the home campground of the New Southern Bears, Lumberjacks Camping Resort, in Unadilla, GA. All proceeds ofthe event will go to the Christmas fud to make sure these deserving kids have a very Merry Christmas in 2008.

Beary Visions in Thuringia, the Green Heart of Germany - from June 6 to 8, 2008.

The Bears of Thuringia Bear Club welcome you at the great Thuringian Bear Weekend!

In cooperation with OX’s (Thuringian Leather Club Erfurt) and JMC (Jena Mens Club) this event climaxes in Jena and Erfurt in two big parties. The opening takes place in Jena’s “Jenaer Mens Club”. It’s gonna be an exciting weekend including a big Bear Rebellion (a party with 2 DJs), a furry guided tour through Jena’s woods, and a honey brunch with Thuringian barbecued specialties plus more events pointed out on our website.

Wir vom Thüringer Bären Club laden ein zum großen Thüringer Bären Weekend!

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem OX’s (TLC-Erfurt) und dem JMC (Jenaer Mens Club) findet diese Veranstaltung ihre Höhepunkte in Jena und in Erfurt, in zwei großen Partys. Der Auftakt des Wochenendes findet in Jena im JMC statt. Es wird ein ereignisreiches Wochenende mit großer Bärenrevolte (u.a. mit zwei DJs), einer haarigen Führung durch die Wälder Jenas, einem Honigbrunch mit Thüringer Spezialitäten vom Grill und weiteren Events die auf unserer Homepage ausführlich beschrieben werden.
