Bear Decadence - LA
Come on down to the Big Easy for 4 days of "Sweatin' in the Swamps"- Bear Decadence 2008.
Held in conjunction with the Annual Southern Decadence celebration, this series of events is sure to bring out the Beast in all of you.
Non-stop action beginning Thursday night with our "Welcome to Decadene Bear Beer Blast".
On Friday, the New Orleans Bears hold their annual "Sire Ursus Contest and Dinner" followed by "Leather Decadence" - the largest Levi-Leather Block Party in the South.
Sunday starts with a Bear Breakfast. During breakfast, the Bears hold their Best Bear Beard, Belly, Butt, and Chest contests.
The Breakfast provides fuel for marching in the Southern Decadence Parade which follows. End the weekend with a blast, a Bear Beer Blast that is - on Sunday evening.

WELCOME TO BEARQUEST, the first ever festival/camping weekend in the entire UK exclusively for bears, cubs and their admirers.
The dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 29th, 30th and 31st August 2008, thats the week after the August Bank Holiday!
The event will be featured in a large circus style marquee with stage, dj, entertainment, etc.... beer and food available... there will be stalls and a large funfair and a campsite for all you guys to pitch your tents....
The event is fully licensed and supported by Wyre Borough Council and Lancashire Police.

It's that time of year again with summer in full swing, our bear run, Weekend Of Outrageous Fun (W.O.O.F. '08)*, is approaching and fast!
We've taken great individual events we've been doing for years and turned it into a nice small scale relaxing bear run. We enjoy a few bar nights, an afternoon at our local renowned Kennywood Amusement Park, poke some fun at the idea of 'bear contests' while enjoying wonderful entertainment, this year we're excited to have Comedian William Brown join us. Feel free to learn more about William by checking out our Entertainment page. On Sunday during the run, we enjoy an afternoon potluck picnic with games and connecting with friends. And one of the best parts of the weekend, we spend Sunday night chilling out with a Movies and PJs slumber party style social where we snuggle up with pillows and blankets while enjoying fun movies with belly rubs all around. All this at a decent rate that doesn't kill your wallet.

We've got our host hotel, the Parkway Centre Best Western, offering rooms (based on availability) at the special WOOF Labor Day rates of $99 to $109 a night plus tax.
